Dear Knightdale Elementary Families:
As the principal of Knightdale Elementary, I would like to welcome all students and their families to the 2011-2012 school year. We are so excited to have new staff members and new families joining our school team. You will soon discover what a great place Knightdale Elementary is for all of us to work and learn together. At Knightdale Elementary we are committed to providing an academically challenging environment where students and their families are encouraged to participate in the learning process together.
Everyone should be extremely proud of the fact we made expected growth and high growth based on the North Carolina ABC accountability system. We did not make AYP this school year but as a learning community we will work extremely hard to make this a reality for the 2011-2012 school year. Knightdale Elementary leadership team will use all available data to make sure we are doing everything we can so learning takes place at a high rate for all. This is a fabulous staff that is dedicated to the continuous educational success for all students.
Please note the following:
Students may enter the building at 8:45 daily.
Breakfast is served starting at 8:45 with classes beginning at 9:15.
Dismissal will be at 3:45 daily.
